Employee Spotlight: Meet Michelle McMann-Donovan
Role: Business Development Lead

At Seaside Home Health Care, our employees are the heart of everything we do. In this employee spotlight, we’re excited to introduce Michelle, our Business Development Lead, and share more about her role, journey into senior care, and what makes them such a valued member of the Seaside team.

What is your role and what does a typical day look like for you?

There is no typical day and that is much of what I love, I may start my day with a plan to market to specific accounts  that completely changes with a phone call.  Suddenly going to the other end of town or another county to help a current client or the meet with a new patient in the hospital preparing for discharge

What got you started in a senior care career?

In 2002 I began looking for a more meaningful career after several years in industry laundry services.  There was such a need for senior care in SWFL that it seemed like a perfect for me.

What brought you to Seaside Home Health Care?

After working along side of the Bidwell family for several years, I jumped at the chance join the team when the opportunity arose.

What do you enjoy most about your work?

I enjoy being able to provide needed care and services to our vulnerable senior population.  Also,  I love the people I work with and the team environment.

What project or accomplishment are you the most proud of?

It always makes my soul happy to help a senior find the services they need whether it’s with Seaside HHC or a referral for other community services.

What skills are most important to your success?

Flexibility and the ability to adjust quickly.  Plans can change often and the ability to accommodate those changes makes all the difference.

How would you describe our team in 3 words?

Compassionate, Driven, and Skilled!

What differentiates Seaside from other agencies?

No matter what, we will find a way to help.

What does success look like to you?

Success can mean a lot of things, but to me, it is finding solutions for the patient’s needs or concerns.
